What on Earth are WE here for?

A Church-Wide Spiritual Growth Campaign

Daily Devotions!

Each day we will focus on a different “One Another” passage from Holy Scripture.  The Devotional Guide, Better Together, also contains the Sunday School lessons for the 40 Days. The guides are $7.00.  If you are able, purchase one for yourself & one for a friend.  If you are not able to purchase one, we are happy to provide one for you.  Special study guides and devotionals for youth and children are available in their Sunday School classes.

Sunday School!

Join us each Sunday during the 40 Days whether you are a member of a Sunday School class or not.  Adults & Youth will begin together in the church sanctuary where Rick Warren will introduce the Scripture lesson.  Then we will go to our regular classes for a time of discussion.  If you are not part of a class we will help you to find a group you are comfortable with.  Everything will begin at 9:45 am so you will want to be here before that.  Set an extra alarm.  Work out a telephone wake up system in your class.  Do whatever it takes, so that you will not miss out and be able to experience spiritual growth.

Scripture Memory!

Each week as you enter the Church Sanctuary for Sunday School you will be given a special verse that will fit onto a 40 Days of Community key ring.  The whole congregation will work together to memorize one verse of scripture each week.  Special key rings will be given out in the youth and children’s classes.

Home Bible Studies!

Several of our members have agreed to open up their homes for 40 Days of Community Small Group Bible Studies.  We will list dates and times once the groups get established.  If you are interested in joining a group or know of people to whom we could extend a special invitation, please contact the church office.

FALL FOR JESUS!

Woodruff Community Revival

Great appreciation is expressed to everyone who helped in the parking lot, with children’s worship, in the nursery, as a greeter, as an usher, sang in the choir, worked to set up/take down the stage, ran sound or video, prayer walked, distributed water bottles, distributed door hangers or were faithful to the prayer meetings that proceeded the revival.  It has been fantastic to be able to gather as a community for worship.  The Lord has blessed us in a tremendous way.
