“CATCH UP” SUNDAY!

This Sunday, November 4

We give thanks for all the tithes and offerings that are brought to carry on the Lord’s work through His church.  At the moment, we are $22,573.75 behind in our contributions toward this year’s budget.  The deacons have asked that each person consider giving a special offering this Sunday to help our church fulfill the opportunities God has given us to minister together.

OVER AND ABOVE

PARKING LOT FINANCIAL REPORT

We have received the final bill for the parking lot project.  The estimated cost for the project was $254,661.75.  The actual cost was $258,906.00.  Additional expenses were incurred for work that was not included in the original proposal.  These included:  an additional sidewalk, a concrete dumpster pad, paving the area to the left of the garage, repairing the sub-grade near the office entrance, sand for the volleyball court, stop signs and handicap signs.  Including the engineering costs that were paid in 2006, $134,770.63 was paid from the Over and Above Fund.  $132,290.97 was paid from the Capital Needs Fund.  Thank you for your generous support.  The back parking lot has been an area of need for many, many years.  The task now will be to rebuild our Capital Needs Fund and to begin saving toward our next Over and Above Project.

GIDEON OFFERING

$259.00 was contributed this past Sunday for the purchase of Bibles.  We pray that God will use His Word in a powerful way to change hearts & lives.
