What on Earth are WE here for?

A Church-Wide Spiritual Growth Campaign

Church-Wide Covered Dish Luncheon

Next Sunday morning, November 5 we will join together to celebrate all that God has accomplished during the 40 Days of Community.  Please bring your favorite dishes as we share in a great time of fellowship after the morning worship service.

 “Better Together” Devotional Guides!

We purchased extra copies of Better Together and The Purpose Driven Life so that we could be sure that everyone who wanted to take part in this opportunity for spiritual growth would be able to do so.  As we near the end of the 40 Days we want to try and find good homes for these devotional guides.  If you know of someone whose spiritual walk with God would benefit through these devotional readings, please help us get a copy of one of these books to them.  If you are able to help us with the cost of the books ($7) please do so, but if not we are happy to provide them.

Sunday School:  A Place to Grow and Belong!

Join us this Sunday whether you are a member of a Sunday School class or not.  Adults & Youth will begin together in the church sanctuary for an introduction to the Scripture lesson.  Then we will go to our regular classes for a time of discussion.  If you are not part of a class, we will help you to find a group you are comfortable with.  Everything will begin at 9:45 am so you will want to be here before that.  Set an extra alarm.  Work out a telephone wake up system in your class.  Do whatever it takes, so that you will not miss out and be able to experience spiritual growth.

THANK YOU!

Dear Church Family, Thank you so much for all that you have done for my family and me during our time of grief.  The cards, visits, food, prayers, and music have meant so much to my entire family and I am so glad to be part of a kind and thoughtful church.

With Christian love,   Greg Cooper & Family

Dear Family of Faith,  Words are truly inadequate to express to you how thankful I am for your words of affirmation, gifts, shared remembrances & acts of service during Pastor Appreciation Month.  All of us need encouragement & to be reminded that we are supported, loved & cared for.  Special thanks to everyone who was involved in planning, cooking, & serving Sunday night’s supper.  Please continue to pray for me as I seek the Lord’s will each day to know how to lead this great congregation in worship & in using the gifts God has blessed each of us with to serve together as we seek to bring Him honor & glory.  Thank you for the privilege you have given me to serve as your pastor.

In Christ’s love, Andrew Shull
