We remember the sacrifices made by those who put their lives on

the line for us.  May we never forget their devotion and selfless love.

We remember the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, who paid a

price He did not owe - to free us from a debt we could not pay.

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."  John 15:13

With Love and Appreciation For

We give thanks to God for Kelly and for her ministry to our church and with our children, youth, and senior adults.  The Lord has richly blessed Kelly’s work and we have seen wonderful things take place under her faithful leadership.  Kelly joined our church staff on May 27, 2001 and will begin her 7th year of service this Sunday.  We are so grateful for the way that God has been at work through her.  Pray for her daily as she seeks to reflect Christ’s love and to make a difference in hearts and lives.

GRADUATE BREAKFAST

Many, many thanks to Keith, Cindy, Whitney, Lillie and Hannah Kelly for hosting the graduates at their home for breakfast.  A great time was had by all!

GRADUATE LUNCHEON

Great appreciation is expressed to Skip, Pam & Bobby Scott, Jo Granger, Lucille McMahan & Zane and Lauren Orias for their work in preparing lunch for the graduates & their families.  Because it was such a large gathering it would have been nearly impossible for them to have been served at a restaurant.  Thank you so much for your efforts that provided great food & fellowship!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT WORKERS

It is hard to believe that another school year has come and gone.  We are very grateful for all who have worked in the kitchen, served in the nursery, worked with our choir groups, mission groups, and with the Bible studies.  Over the years we have been able to reach many children, young people and families through these efforts.  It takes a lot of committed people for our church to be able to provide all of different ministries that are offered during the school year.    We are grateful for each one who has volunteered their time, energy, patience and talent.  If you are interested in helping on Wednesday nights for the 2007-2008 school year, please call the church office.

THANK YOU!

Members of First Baptist Church, Words cannot express how much I appreciated everything you did for my family and me during the illness and death of Oliver.  Your support, concern and prayers during this time have been felt in so many ways.  Thank you also for the delicious meal you sent.  Everyone commented on how many great cooks we have in our church.  Thank you again church family.  Love,

                                                    Peggy Gilliland and Family
