How not to lose

THE BATTLES OF TEMPTATION

All of us face temptations and they often overcome us instead of the other way around.  Sunday morning we will look at the life of Joseph and the strength God gave him to be victorious over the many temptations he faced.  Join us as we learn how to win these day to day struggles.

 

ANSWERING WITH HOPE

This Sunday night will be the first service in a series of services scattered throughout the year that will focus on common questions and objections to the Christian faith.  We will seek to Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”  1 Peter 3:15

Reverend Ryan Eklund will be our guest preacher for both services on Sunday, April 6.  Rev. Eklund served as our pastor from 1975 – 1979.  We look forward to Ryan and Betty being with us.

CHURCH PLANTING IN MOSCOW

Brad Stamey, who was featured in the Week of Prayer materials this past December, will be our guest speaker on Sunday morning, April 13.  Brad and his wife Lori have served for the past 10 years as missionaries in Moscow.  They will be returning to Moscow in August.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD WORK DAY

Saturday, April 26  *  8:00 am – 12:30 pm

We will meet at the church and divide into teams to do yard work and other household tasks for those in our church and community who need some assistance.  We will conclude with lunch together at the church.  Please sign up in advance if you will be able to take part so we will have an idea how many projects we can take on.

QUILTING CLASS

Thursday, April 10 * 6:00 pm  *  Church Library

Start with an easy block and progressively increase your skills and techniques.  The class will meet the 2nd Thursday of each month.  Contact Kathy Skinner to register or for more information.

 

A PLACE TO GROW AND BELONG!
