Resolution In Recognition of the Service of

VIRGINIA ROSE CAPE SUGGS

The Executive Board of the SC WMU passed a resolution last week expressing appreciation for the dedicated service Ginny gave to the WMU on the local, network and state levels.  A copy of the resolution has been placed on the bulletin board outside the church office.

Invite a friend to come with you!  We’ll have hot dogs for lunch.  Then it’s time to have fun!  Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Easter Crafts, Easter Story and Egg Hunt.  Parents are encouraged to come and have fun with their children.

Youth that are interested in singing for the worship services are invited to come be part of this new group that is being formed.  Marcia Ward will serve as the group’s director.  This will take place as part of the Creative Arts Ministry offered each Sunday afternoon.

SUNRISE BREAKFAST

Join us for a wonderful breakfast this Sunday morning after the Sunrise Service!  Appreciation is expressed in advance to all who have agreed to rise early and cook.

 

FLOWERING CROSS

The Decorating Committee will be preparing a “Flowering Cross” in the sanctuary this Sunday.  Please bring flowers with you to add to the cross as you come to Sunday School.  Pictures will be taken of families, individuals and groups after the service.

FIRST BAPTIST TRAVEL MUGS

We have purchased travel mugs to give to our visitors.  The mugs are blue and are imprinted with our church name and a beautiful drawing by Lottie Caldwell of our church steeple.  The mugs are available for purchase in the church office for $3.00.  Your purchase of a mug will help defray the cost of this outreach project.
