We are in the process of launching a church-wide outreach effort.  If you would like to be part of this, but have not turned in a Commitment Card, please call the church office or stop by and get a card.  Our prayer is that everyone who is involved in the life of our church will become involved in reaching people for Christ.

 

CREATIVE ARTS MINISTRY

Children & Youth  *  Each Sunday 5:00 pm

Join us in the Youth Room each Sunday afternoon for fun with Sign Language, Puppets, Drama, and Interpretive Movement.

 

QUILTING CLASS

Thursday, April 10 * 6:00 pm  *  Church Library

Start with an easy block and progressively increase your skills and techniques.  The class will meet the 2nd Thursday of each month.  Contact Kathy Skinner to register or for more information.

 

GOLDEN AGE FELLOWSHIP

Wednesday, April 2  *  11:45 am

Our April program features the Martha Franks Singers under the direction of Joe Greer.  Join us for a great time of food, fellowship, and entertainment.

 

LOOKING AHEAD IN APRIL:

Reverend Ryan Eklund will be our guest preacher for both services on Sunday, April 6.  Rev. Eklund served as our pastor from 1975 – 1979.  We look forward to Ryan and Betty being with us.

 

Brad Stamey, who was featured in the Week of Prayer materials this past December, will be our guest speaker on Sunday morning, April 13.  Brad and his wife Lori have served for the past 10 years as missionaries in Moscow.  They will be returning to Moscow in August.

 

A Neighborhood Work Day is being planned for Saturday, April 26.  We will meet at the church and then divide into teams to do yard work and other household tasks for those in our church and community who need some assistance.  We will conclude with lunch together at the church.

 

The Young Musicians are preparing a spring musical for Sunday night, April 27.  Power Play tells the story of a young hockey team as they learn to trust God even in difficult circumstances.

For Easter, the Decorating Committee will be preparing a “Flowering Cross” in the sanctuary.  Please bring flowers with you to add to the cross as you come to Sunday School next Sunday.

We are putting together a team to cook breakfast for the Easter Sunrise Service.  If you would like to be part of this group, please contact Pam Scott or the church office.
