40 DAYS OF COMMUNITY

September 24 – November 11, 2006

Back in 2004, our church family was blessed as we participated in 40 Days of Purpose.  This fall we will take the next step.  40 Days of Community focuses on how we can help one another.  The devotionals, Bible studies, Scripture memory, & worship services will respond to the question, “What on earth are we here for?”  Please be praying that the Lord will work in a powerful way.

Everyone will need a copy of the 40 Days of Community Workbook: Better Together.  The workbook includes 40 Days of Devotions, 40 Days of Journaling, and the Small Group Study Guide.  These may be purchased in the church office at a cost of $7.00.  We encourage you, if you are able, to purchase one for yourself and one for a friend.  Different workbooks for youth and children will be provided.  We also have copies of The Purpose Driven Life, (The devotional guide for 40 Days of Purpose), that can be purchased at a cost of $7.00.  You may want to consider using it in your devotions this summer as we prepare for what God will do this fall.
