LISTENING FOR THE TRUMPET

As the children of Israel made their way to the promised land, God gave instructions for trumpet blasts that would be used to call the people to:  Worship God; Follow God; Engage the Enemy; and Celebrate (Numbers 10:1-10).  The New Testament tells us that it will be the sound of the trumpet that will signal:  Our Lord’s Return, the Resurrection of the Dead, the Transformation and Reunion of the Saints, and God’s Ultimate Victory (1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).  Join with us this Sunday morning as we worship God together and learn how to listen for the trumpet.

COLLEGE MINISTRY

We would love to have a current address for each of our college students.  Please call us or email us with contact information for the new school year.  Each student will be listed on our weekly prayer sheets on a rotating basis.

THANK YOU!

Dear Andrew and Church Family,  I cannot express in words how thankful I am for all the acts of kindness shown to me since my accident.  The food has been delicious, the cards, flowers and calls brighten my days, but I know your prayers are what’s helping me feel better each day.  Again thanks so much for everything and continue to remember us in your prayers.  Love,  Sheila Stribling
