EMERGENCY NUMBERS

Cards are available in the office and in the Health Ministry room for you to record telephone numbers that could be used to contact your family in case of emergency. In this day of unlisted cell phone numbers it is sometimes difficult to know how to reach people. The completed cards will be kept in a file in the church office. On the back of the card is a place that gives you the option to record health information.

FIRST BAPTIST TRAVEL MUGS

We have purchased travel mugs to give to our visitors. The mugs are blue and are imprinted with our church name and a beautiful drawing by Lottie Caldwell of our church steeple. The mugs are available for purchase in the church office for $3.00. Your purchase of a mug will help defray the cost of giving the mugs to our visitors.

REACHING OUT TOGETHER

This past Sunday, we watched with joy as person after person made a commitment to the Lord’s work. Our prayer is that everyone who is involved in the life of our church will become involved in reaching people for Christ. If you were not able to be in worship this past Sunday, please consider the following commitments. Commitment cards are available in the church office. If you are not able to come by, call and let us know what commitment you are making. We will be in touch with each person who responds. There will be meeting this Wednesday night after the Mid-Week Service to organize these efforts. All are welcome.

We are coordinating a meal for the Baptist Campus Ministry in Spartanburg. Students from Converse, Wofford, Spartanburg Tech, Spartanburg Methodist and USC Upstate attend. If you would like to prepare a dish, please contact Pam Scott or the church office.
