me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness

40 DAYS OF COMMUNITY

Beginning September 24, 2006

What on Earth are WE here for?

A Church-Wide Spiritual Growth Campaign

The Devotional Guides are $7.00.  If you are able, purchase one for yourself & one for a friend.  The guides include 40 Days of Devotions, Journal, & the Small Group/Sunday School Lessons.  Different guides for youth and children will be provided.

Host Homes Needed!

Would you consider hosting a “small group Bible study” in your home during 40 Days of Community?  The study features a dvd by Rick Warren with discussion questions provided.  This is an excellent way to reach neighbors, co-workers, or family who are reluctant to come with you to church.  Contact our pastor if you would like to pursue this opportunity.

Saturday, September 9 * 10:00 am * Cornerstone

Saturday, September 16 * 10:00 am * First Baptist

Revival Prayer Meeting

THE NEW CHURCH YEAR

Our new year begins Friday, September 1.  We are grateful for everyone who has agreed to serve through the various ministries of our church.  We pledge to pray for and support one another as we seek to work together for the cause of Christ.  The Lord has been at work in a powerful way.  Amazing things will happen when we use the gifts He has entrusted to us for His glory!

Pray for the People of

SOUTH CAROLINA

We have entered into a Season of Prayer for Missions in SC.  During September we will receive an offering for state missions named to honor Janie Chapman.  Pray that God’s power would be evident in our lives as we seek to be part of what He is doing in our state.  Special prayer guides will be included with your bulletin this Sunday as we seek God’s help to reach the people of South Carolina.

A PLACE TO GROW AND BELONG!

Join us this Sunday for Bible Study!  There is a small group for everybody.  Contact the church office or stop by the Welcome Center if you need help knowing which class would best meet your needs.

THANK YOU!

Dear Church Family, I would like to thank each of you for the many acts of kindness you have shown me during my recent hospital visit.  Most of all I appreciate the prayers on my behalf.  Also, the beautiful cards and phone calls and the food you brought when I was unable to cook.  Your visits helped me also.  God Bless you for every act of kindness.  Continue to pray for my recovery.  You blessed me!  Mary Wall
