THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS

Remember to pray for students, teachers, and staff as they begin a new school year.  Pray that the Lord will provide lots of opportunities for them to share their faith.  Pray for their safety as they learn and grow and seek to develop and use the gifts God has blessed them with.

DR. LONNIE SHULL

Guest Preacher * This Sunday, August 19

We are delighted to have our pastor’s father return to our pulpit this Sunday.  Dr. Shull retired from full time ministry last year after serving 50 continuous years as a pastor.  He & Hazel, have 3 sons & 3 grandchildren.  The morning message will focus on how we can be part of what God is doing as He builds His church with “living stones.”  There will be a special time of dedication for the new school year.  Educators and students will be leading us in worship.  The Shulls will be singing.  The evening message will focus on the powerful promises our Lord said He “will” accomplish.  We look forward to the blessings we will receive as Dr. Shull shares from God’s word.  Our pastor will return from vacation on Wednesday.
