your nerves?
No. Really.
I mean is there someone who reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly gets on
your nerves?
Well, that person is your new best friend.
Yes, I'm going somewhere with this. Jesus gave us 2 (count them 2--1, 2) mack
daddy rules by which we may live by.
Numero uno: Love God with everything you got.
Numero dos: Love everybody else as if they wuz you.
We all realize that Jesus told us to love our enemy, but how many of us really
put this into effect. Well, let's put it this way: Jesus said that if you love
Him then you will do what He says. Therefore, if that person who we reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally don't like gets to us, and we don't
actively pursue going out of our way to love that person then we are not doing
what Jesus told us to in which case we do not love Him.
Perhaps that got caught in the numerous surrounding words.
If we don't love our enemy then we don't love Jesus.
This is a shock and a surprise to those of us who really pursue God and His Son.
Just one thing we need to keep in mind when we interact with these people. Be a
servant like no other, humbler than any other, be lower than the lowest servant
of a servant, and you have just begun to get on the right track.
