CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY

Our church family grieves the death of

Genia Sumner.

Genia was a member of our church for 62 years

and faithfully kept the nursery for over 40 years.

We extend our love and prayerful support to her children: Jolene Brown, Betty Flynn, Liz Mason, Patsy Going, Terry Sumner and their families.

PICTURES OF VETERANS

For July 3rd

We would love to show pictures of our Veterans during the “pre-service” on Sunday, July 3.  We collected pictures last year, but would love to add your picture if it was not included.  Please bring a picture from your time of service by the church office (or email it to us.)  We will scan the picture and give it back to you.  Please include the years and your branch of service.

IN THE PULPIT THIS SUNDAY!

Dr. Jimmy Epting, President of North Greenville University, will be our guest speaker for the Morning Service.  Dr. Epting and his wife, Gretchen have three children, Daphne, Bert, & Paul and four grandchildren, Nathan, Mallory, James, and Campbell.  He has served as President since 1991.  God has accomplished great things through his leadership.  We look forward to this special service of worship.

Rev. Tim Shull will bring a message from God’s Word this Sunday night.  Tim & his wife Gloria have two children, Jared and Hannah.  Tim serves as pastor of the River Springs Church in Irmo and is our pastor’s brother.  You will want to be here to hear Tim’s message.

INDEPENDENCE DAY OFFERING

Help provide “Bible Sticks” to the members of our armed forces.  The “Bible Sticks” are small digital audio Bible players especially designed for our military.  They will be distributed through our chaplains to our troops from all branches of service.  To take part, simply mark an envelope “Military Bible Sticks.”
