Disciplines that Conform You to the Image of Christ

Next Sunday Night, September 12  *  6:00 pm

Fellowship Hall

FROM DESPAIR TO HOPE

Sidney Rittenberg was jailed by the Chinese for 16 years & then founded a consulting firm to help American companies do business with the Chinese.  Instead of trying to get back at his captors; he included them in his circle & built a business model that serves them.  It is easy to let the disappointments of life turn into despair.  Instead of giving in to those tendencies, a wise believer practices the disciplines of lament, confession, celebration and praise.

If you would like to - bring treats or snacks with you to share.  We will provide the lemonade and coffee.

CASUAL SUMMER

Please feel free to dress comfortably.

Invite friends to come with you.

THANKS!

All the Walden family are appreciative of your acts of kindness during this time in our lives.  The food was delicious and I know all the ladies spent time preparing the food and bringing it to us.  God bless each and every one of them.   Joyce & Russell Walden

The evidence of the Spirit of God is in this church.  The Scripture, James 5:13-15, tells us to pray for the sick and afflicted, and you did that for my husband.  Thank you for being my prayer warriors and serving God with your prayers for us.  Thank you also for your generosity in allowing me to come and share my ministry of exercise with you.  So many have been so faithful.  My husband, David, is healing and progressing well now – no more infection and the prognosis is good.  He will walk again after much therapy.  Please continue to pray for him.  Thank you, Pat Margarita
