10 Years of Service

We give thanks to God for Bobby and for his ministry through music. He will complete his 10th year of service this week as our Music Director. He began serving with us on June 25, 2000. In addition to his responsibilities with the Adult Choir, worship planning, leading our congregational worship, musicals and other special events, Bobby works with the Quartet and the Praise Team who have touched our hearts in many ways. We have been richly blessed through his gifts and abilities and are so grateful that he, Carla, Christopher and Jonathan are part of our family. Pray for the Blantons daily as they seek to faithfully live out God’s call in their lives.

YOUTH MISSION GROUPS

This Wednesday * 6:00 pm

Acteens (Girls in Grades 6-12) will be meeting at the Three Pines Swimming Pool (cost: $3.00) & then will go to the home of Duane, Tammy, Ben and Victoria Bailey, 705 Three Wood Lane, for Bible study.

Challengers (Guys in Grades 6-12) will be meeting at the home of Keith, Christine, Chelsea & Connor Reynolds, 750 Cavins Road for swimming and Bible study.

VBS PICNIC

This Friday * 12:00 pm * Fellowship Hall

The Winsome Sunday School Class is putting together a picnic for VBS children, teachers and parents to celebrate what has been learned in Bible School, and to create an opportunity for fellowship and relationship building. If you would like to help, contact the church office or a member of the Winsome Class.

Our study on July 11 will focus on ways to strengthen our intimacy with God: heartfelt prayer, meditation, and celebrating God’s presence.

MISSION TRIP PREPARATION

Please be praying for our church mission trip to Franklin, NC, July 19-24. World Changers will have a preparation Bible study, this Friday at 5:00 pm and then will be serving at Helping Hands this Saturday at 8:00 am.
