This Sunday Evening, August 29  *  6:00 pm

We will explore the history and main sects of Islam, the major doctrines and how we can respond with the Gospel of Christ. THANK YOU!

Dear First Baptist Church, Tony and I can not begin to say thank you enough for all the prayers, calls, cards, food and help.  Woodruff First has blessed us so richly.  Please continue to remember us in your prayers as we continue treatments.  I will return to the hospital on August 30th.  Thank each of you and God bless.  In Christian love,  Tony & Kathy Skinner

To Woodruff First Baptist Church:  Thank you very much for the wonderful meal you prepared for our family.  Everyone appreciated coming together for such a meal, in spite of the circumstances.  Our mother would have been delighted to see us all together in her home.  The dishes you brought were just like those she lovingly prepared for her family for many years.  It brought back good memories.  Our mother deeply appreciated the many visits and cards sent by members of her church family.  She would really “light up” when members of her Sunday School class visited her.  The family of Martha Walden

Thank you for your prayers and concern for Byan when he was so ill in June – you prayed for him when he was born so premature and we are still grateful for all those prayers.  He is doing well now and in the 7th grade.  Thank you for the many cards and calls, too.  I am so fortunate to have such a loving church family.  Peggy Gilliland and the Biggerstaff Family
