2010 MINISTRY SUPPORT BUDGET

Our church voted this past Sunday to adopt the 2010 Ministry Support Budget as recommended by the Stewardship Committee.  Appreciation is expressed to the Stewardship Committee for their many hours of service, prayer, and deliberation.  In these difficult economic times, we recognize more than ever the need to put God first.  Whether you are a tither, working towards the tithe or giving beyond the tithe, prayerfully seek God’s will with your finances.  God’s blessings will be evident as we put our trust in Him.

PRAYER CONCERNS

If you would like to be placed on our Church Prayer List, please call the church office or write down your prayer requests on the cards available in the pew racks in the Sanctuary and on the table at the Church-Wide Bible Study.  This will allow us to “rally the troops” in prayer and support.  If you prefer your name not be placed on a printed list but still would like to be remembered by the ministerial staff, simply indicate that and we will keep your confidence.  As a church family, we want to respect each person’s privacy.  Frequently we learn about needs second-hand out of a network of concern, but it is important that each person be able to decide what information they would like shared.  Sometimes our members assume that someone has called the church office on their behalf, and have been inadvertently neglected.  Because of these concerns we want to encourage our members to call the church office when they have a need so that we will be able to respond in love and care.  If you hear of someone who is sick, ask them if it is okay with them if you share this information with our church family.  May we grow in love and care for one another as we seek to be faithful to the call of Christ.
