THANKSGIVING OUTREACH MEAL
Next Wednesday, November 25
Each year, we prepare a
Thanksgiving Meal for the people of our community. We do this especially for those who are in
need. Would you consider donating a
turkey?
Turkeys need to be brought to the
church by this Friday, Nov. 20. Sign up
if you would like to help in the kitchen that day, help deliver meals, or make
desserts/cornbread. Cornbread needs to
be brought to the church by this Sunday, Nov. 22. Desserts need to be brought by Wednesday
morning, Nov. 25. Join in this wonderful
ministry.

PRAYER
CONCERNS
If
you would like to be placed on our Church Prayer List, please call the church
office or write down your prayer requests on the cards available in the pew
racks in the Sanctuary and on the table at the Church-Wide Bible Study. This will allow us to “rally the troops” in
prayer and support. If you prefer your
name not be placed on a printed list but still would like to be remembered by
the ministerial staff, simply indicate that and we will keep your
confidence. As a church family, we want
to respect each person’s privacy.
Frequently we learn about needs second-hand out of a network of concern,
but it is important that each person be able to decide what information they
would like shared. Sometimes our members
assume that someone has called the church office on their behalf, and have been
inadvertently neglected. Because of
these concerns we want to encourage our members to call the church office when
they have a need so that we will be able to respond in love and care. If you hear of someone who is sick, ask them
if it is okay with them if you share this information with our church
family. May we grow in love and care for
one another as we seek to be faithful to the call of Christ.
